Motorpool and Transportation Head

Scope of Work

Lead and oversee department operations by setting clear performance targets, developing strategic plans, managing budgets responsibly, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth, efficient workflows across all functions. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement by providing regular coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for team members. Build strong communication channels and coordinate closely with other departments to align goals, streamline processes, and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. Monitor performance metrics, address challenges proactively, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and service delivery. Actively participate in meetings, planning sessions, and organizational initiatives, including spiritual activities, while promoting shared values, teamwork, and a positive, mission-driven work environment.

Qualification Standard

  • At least 2-years full time missionary experience handling missionary volunteers recognized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Must have training and experience in construction and/or engineering.
  • Experience and leadership in Maintenance, Safety, and handling of equipment and tools
  • Trained in various Ministries that are recognized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Experience in Literature Evangelism preferred
  • Active in evangelism and willing to move forward beyond boundaries
  • Committed and dedicated to do full time missionary work
  • Baptized and active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides weekly targets and deliverables for the whole Department in line with the Divisions Targets and Deliverables
  • Conducts Department strategic planning activities to carry out and accomplish the targets promptly
  • Prepares and submits budget proposals to their Division Head.
  • Supervises and monitors activities and processes within the Department to continually improve the operating system
  • Conducts Coaching and Mentoring to the Staff on a weekly basis or as per need.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with the Staff in order to monitor the targets, deliverables and output per staff.
  • Facilitates urgent instructions from the Division Head in connection with PAMAS operations.
  • Provides manpower support to other Divisions and Departments
  • Attends regularly Team Worships and United Prayers
  • Performs other related functions
