In 2025, PAMAS is taking significant efforts to enhance its operational impact across the Philippines. With four strategically positioned bases, we are committed to serving remote communities effectively through mission aviation, medical, and other services. Our recent strategic planning event in Palawan was a pivotal moment for teamwork, collaboration, and the development of organizational systems that are in response to years of prayer. This article reinforces what God is doing to empower PAMAS to achieve His mission and to serve our communities better.
PAMAS Leaders Gathered in Palawan
In January 2025, leaders and representatives from each of the four PAMAS bases, including partners from AngelOne, gathered at our longest-standing airbase in Brooke’s Point, Palawan, established in 2009. AngelOne supports Adventist mission aviation efforts by providing counsel and assistance with essential aircraft parts, pilots, mechanics, and a variety of other valuable services.

Team Building and Strategic Planning
For almost one week, PAMAS participants engaged in fellowship, teamwork, and strategic planning. Missionary volunteers enjoyed shared meals, worship services, and prayer sessions, fostering a strong sense of community among our teams.

Strengthening PAMAS Structure and Systems
Through God’s leading, PAMAS has committed to growing in organizational and personnel development. This past year, our central team, along with the PAMAS Mindanao staff, have worked tirelessly to develop comprehensive policies and procedures for finance, human resources, and communication. Much time and effort culminated in a detailed handbook aimed at standardizing operations across all bases.

The 2025 Strategic Planning event was a great opportunity to share this progress. Teams received training on utilizing Google Docs and following structured processes to create department-specific policies. Breakout sessions with mixed teams fostered collaboration among missionaries from all bases as they worked together to create operational policies.
Implementing Unified Procedures Across Bases
Each PAMAS base was encouraged to begin developing standardized policies to fit their local operations while also contributing ideas for PAMAS as a whole. The most challenging aspect of this process lies in its successful implementation. As we pursue these prayerfully set goals, we covet your prayers for guidance and support.

Looking Ahead: Growth and Standardization in PAMAS
We are excited to see progress and eager for continued growth and standardization, especially in our medical and aviation departments.
God is Leading
God has brought key individuals to PAMAS at the perfect time to advance this mission. None of these developments could have happened through the efforts of any one person alone. We can clearly see how God is answering our earnest petitions and that He is the one leading this organization. For this, we are truly grateful.

With humble hearts and much prayer, we are moving forward. We eagerly anticipate how God will work through each volunteer this year, dedicating their time, skills, and passion toward fulfilling the mission He has entrusted to us. We are deeply indebted to God and to each of you who support this mission with your prayers and gifts.
