FARM STEW has scheduled this training to take place from March 2 to 16, 2025, at the SULADS Campus, which is conveniently situated within Mountain View College in Valencia City, Bukidnon, Philippines.

What does FARM STEW do, and where is it located?
FARMSTEW is an organization addressing the root causes of poverty, hunger, and disease among underserved communities. It uses simple, low-tech solutions to empower people to lift themselves out of poverty. Based in the U.S., FARMSTEW operates programs worldwide, including in the Philippines.
Can I join the training without becoming a missionary or being deployed?
Yes, you can attend the training even if you don’t plan to be a missionary. However, first preference will be given to those interested in deploying as FARM STEW missionaries.
Do we provide transportation?
Transportation from the airport or other locations may be available for an additional cost. However, it is important to confirm the details during the registration process to ensure proper arrangements.
What meal options are available?
Meals are included as part of the training and feature a variety of nutritious, colorful vegan and vegetarian options to support a healthy lifestyle.
Can non Seventh-day Adventists attend the training?
Yes, we welcome individuals of all faiths who have a heart for service and a passion for making a difference.
Can I pay when I arrive?
You must complete full payment by February 6, 2025. However, in special cases and with prior approval, you may pay any remaining balance upon arrival.
Who can join the training?
This training is open to anyone 18 years old and above with a heart for service. However, the primary target audience for deployment includes mission-minded and committed SDA individuals who are passionate about serving underserved communities. Additionally, candidates should be at least 21 years old, and while not required, previous mission experience is preferred.
What if I have my own accommodation? Will there be a difference in rates?
If you choose to arrange your own lodging, you may still register; however, the fee will remain the same.
Can I bring my family? Will my kids benefit from the training?
Yes, we highly encourage family participation! Children can benefit from many lessons and activities depending on their age; however, they must remain with a parent or guardian at all times and ensure that classes are not disrupted.
Why does the venue limit accommodation?
Accommodation options are limited due to capacity constraints; therefore, early reservations are highly recommended.
When does registration close?
Due to high demand, the registration deadline for the FARM STEW Training of Trainers for Deployment has been officially extended to February 27, 2025, giving more participants the opportunity to register..
